The evolution of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) has surprised the world and sparked both curiosity and delight in countless possibilities that many have now treated as science fiction. GenAI is more than just a chatbot for customer service and sending automated messages. It can generate innovative content, thereby creating innovations and improving the operation of systems in almost every industry. This chapter aims to identify the perception of GenAI by people from Generation Z (Gen Z), i.e., young people who are just entering the labor market or are still learning. Gen Z is the first generation to access modern technologies from an early age, especially the Internet and smartphones. They cannot imagine life without access to the Internet, often preferring virtual life to real life. At the same time, they are open to new technologies and new solutions. Even though Gen Z in Albania, Poland, and Serbia is technologically savvy and aware of the potential benefits of GenAI, worries about ethics, privacy, and the socioeconomic backdrop might lead to a more nuanced view.
