Period between 2004-2013 has been analized, covering three enlargements of the European Union and implementation of the Interim Trade Agreement between Serbia and the European Union. Data used are the official data of the Statistical office of the Republic of Serbia and EUROSTAT, in order to identify changes in the relative importance of EU9 in trade with Serbia.
