This chapter looks at Serbian rural development in the context of the digital economy, covering a variety of socioeconomic initiatives aimed at rural communities and defined by rural policy. Therefore, this chapter's goal is to examine Serbian rural growth in the digital economy from two perspectives: (1) the application of digital marketing and (2) the deployment of precision agriculture technologies. For businesses looking to achieve sustainable success in Serbia's dynamic agro-product trade, digital marketing is an essential component. The authors also examine examples of rural areas in Serbia that have successfully implemented modern digital technologies, with the aim of establishing a framework for effective transformation and modernization in this domain. The research findings may contribute to the advancement of rural areas in Serbia, specifically through the application of digital marketing strategies and the adoption of precision agriculture systems.
